Company History & Overview




Founded in 1984, Harmon's Body Shop has over 25 years experience in repairing damaged vehicles. Harmon's employs a staff of seventeen managers, technicians and support personnel. Our facility possesses the capacity to repair or paint an average of thirty-three cars per week.

Our Philosophy & Vision

hampton roads professional auto body paintingOur skilled auto collision mechanics have extensive experience working on auto models ranging from Fords and Chevy's to Bentleys, Mercedes and Porsches. We are especially known for our work with Mercedes Benz models working closely with one of the area's premiere Mercedes dealers - Tysinger Mercedes. However, every car model brought to us for paint or repair service is treated with the same degree of care and diligence.

Our location serves the greater Virginia Peninsula region, but our customers come from as far away as South Carolina. Our philosophy is to repair or paint your car to its original factory standards - and in some cases - beyond them.

The Principals

Mark & Jenny Williamson
Owners Mark and Jenny Williamson grew up locally in York County, Virginia. The couple have two school-aged children. Being the parents of an autistic child, the Williamson's are very active in the fight for autism awareness supporting various causes for autism in the area.

Mark Williamson is a member of the Hampton Elks Lodge, coaches T-ball, enjoys racing and playing golf, and is an overall avid sports fan. Mark has over 19 years in the collision industry including three years working on the insurance side of the business. Those three years have given Mark a unique ability to help customers understand and settle their claims to the fullest extent of their policy.

Jenny Williamson is a volunteer at Child Development Resources serving as a member of the leadership council. She also serves on the Family Focus Ways and Means Committee, and is past president of the Exchange Club of York County. She has served on their board for four years. She is also involved with the American Cancer Society’s Relay for Life and a T-ball coach.

Our People

At Harmon’s, we consider our employees as our extended family - and they rely on us to run a great business. We don’t accept anything less than their best effort. We keep score here, and we let our employees know it. We don’t lose customers and we do that by making sure our employees treat each car we work on like it's their own.

Manager Joey Richard has more than 16 years of experience in our field, and others on our staff have as much as a quarter-century of working on cars and trucks.
